Accounts Payable and Receivable – Auto Dealership

As our new AP/AR clerk, you will play a vital role in maintaining accounts and assisting with the general operations of Toyota of Rockwall. We need someone with a winning attitude and a professional appearance. While we prefer someone with experience, this is our entry level position into the business office, so candidates with great potential will also be considered. To be a success in this position, you will need to be highly organized, analytical, professional, adept at problem-solving and ready to make a move toward a long-term career and not just another job. Our dealership is a family, and we treat each employee as such.

Job Responsibilities

• Account for all monies that come in and go out of the dealership on a daily basis
• Act as a representative for our vendors
• Manage all new vendor accounts
• Post payables on a daily basis
• Responsible for sending updated W-9 forms and managing vendor information
• Act as a collections representative for the dealership
• Responsible for sending out monthly receivable statements
• Perform clerical duties such as typing, proofreading, data entry, filing, photocopying, faxing and sorting mail
• Responsible for weekly reconciliation of GL schedules
• Responsible for compliance with IRS in regards to 8300 and 1096 reports

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or GED; basic knowledge of accounting practices; basic knowledge of Microsoft Office; dealership experience is a plus!

To be determined based on experience and knowledge.
